Top 7 Books I Hope To Read Before The Year Ends!

I’m hoping to read a specific set of books before 2018 ends. I found such a post on Charleigh’s blog (Charleigh Writes) and found it a great idea to share with you guys my list of books that I’d like to read before the year ends!

Some of the books on this list have been taking up space on my TBR list for 2000 years (or so it seems). The others are on this list just because I REALLY want to read them soon. So let’s just dive in!

  • ‘Great Expectations’ by Charles Dickens

This heavy-duty novel has been on my to-be-read list since long. I did start it once but, had to drop it for some reason. I really hope I can start and finish it this year itself!

  • ‘Persuasion’ by Jane Austen

Yes, I (probably the biggest Janeite) haven’t read ‘Persuasion’. It isn’t even a very long book so I’m hoping to be able to read it, soon!

  • ‘See You Soon, Afton’ by Brent Jones

This book is the sequel to the amazing ‘Go Home, Afton’ by Brent Jones. I loved that one! It’s so spooky and I love the writing style. You can check out my review of it here. To be honest, I’ve planned to read ‘See You Soon, Afton’ in the last week of this month. I really hope I am able to get to it as it’ll make for one of the perfect spooky books to read in October!

  • ‘The Complete Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes’ by Arthur Conan Doyle

I’ve finished reading ‘A Study in Scarlet’ and ‘Sign Of The Four’ but, I am yet to read all the others. I am so intrigued to know everything that happens in the books! Really REALLY wanting to read the complete adventures probably next month!

  • ‘Shatter Me’ series by Tahereh Mafi

Oh, I’ve so much about this series and oh, the gorgeous covers! This is a dystopian series so yay! I am very excited to read the series probably in December if not in November.

  • ‘False Lights’ by K.J. Whittaker

When I read the synopsis, I knew I had to read this book! It seems to be a fascinating book of which kind I haven’t read many!

  • ‘The Hate U Give’ by Angie Thomas

Of course, this one had to be on this list. I’ve been wanting and planning to read this book since probably the start of the year. So yes, I hope I am able to read it next month!

Can anyone please tell me the secret to reading a hundred books at a time?! My TBR pile is HUGE but, I haven’t lost hopes. I really hope I am able to read all these books before the year ends!
