Fighting Battles Within

This one’s for all of us trying to hold our pain inside when it’s the one thing that should be shown the way out. This one’s for all of us still ‘just thinking’ of speaking up. This one’s for all of us still trying to muster up the courage of doing something we’ve never done before.

We all are fighting battles within. Aren’t we? We might lie to the whole wide world and we might delude them by keeping that pretty smile on our faces, lying to them of our happiness, forcing them to believe that we’re happy with whatever it is. But the real questions are these:

“How long are we going to fake our emotions? Till how long are we going to tell ourselves every morning that we are happy even when we aren’t? Till how long are we going to make our pillows experience the rains of our tears at night? How long are we going to keep those words stuck inside?”

Not many questions. Are they? But they’re not just questions; they are a way out of the bubble we’re fixed in.

How about this?:

  • Figure out what’s eating you from inside and find a way to fix it because even you, deep inside, know that you can! What is the need of suppressing all the feelings inside when there is a way of feeling better by telling somebody of what is disturbing you? Why not tell the person straight off if you don’t like whatever is happening around you? Why not go out and speak up?

Words, they can act as swords when we let them out in the choicest of manners. We can free ourselves from the bubble only if we let them out. We can use these words to let everyone know of what we actually feel within.

How long are we going to fight battles within, trying to understand what’s better- just keep sitting in the cage made by our own fears or going outside to explore the taste of freedom and letting our words out without any fear?

How about freeing yourselves and letting go of yourself into an arena you’ve never been before? Indulge in what you think you deserve. You have the might, the capability, everything you need to have to attain a life you desire of. You can make the tables turn. You can let yourself flying in the sky of the invariable happiness. You can swim in the ocean of unconditional love. Yes, you and I, we all can do this!

The only real battle in life is between hanging in and letting go.
