Be You and Be – You – tiful!

Stop letting other people define you. Be yourself and be proud of it.

How many times have we lost ourselves in the deep stretches of fears and uncertainties? Let’s be true, now! How many times have we tried to be perfect and so, forgot the importance of simplicity? OR how many times have we strived perfection and and not progress? Couple of times, right? Now, this one is the last one: How many times have we compared ourselves with others? Once, twice or more?

We can be the best people alive who are free, free from all distrusts and doubts. We can be perfect even by not distressing ourselves over becoming so. The perfect soul is stitched tightly in our body. It’s just waiting for us to identify it. The only key to open the lock of perfection is – Being Yourself . Life is a classroom, a classroom where we learn the theories of survival, where we experience and where we learn to be ourselves.

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.                             : George Bernard Shaw

We create ourselves and someday become the masterpieces.
When we are the true and unvarnished ourselves, then we become unique. Life has the same mission. It wants to see us grow everyday, not being someone who we aren’t but being our authentic selves. To accomplish this beautiful mission, life shows us the ups and downs, so that we find ourselves, our souls that are hidden behind the curtains and the sands and realize who we really are or want to be. Sometimes, it takes a lot of pebbles and thorns to be hit by, for finding our inner strengths. And then, when we unearth this exquisite and aesthetic inner strength, we are called ‘PERFECT’.

Stop living within the confines of how others define you! You have a unique beauty and purpose; live accordingly.
                         : Dr. Steve Maraboli

So, let’s be ourselves and enjoy life as it passes by. Let’s not lose hopes and simply let our dreams fall off. Let us prove to be unique and good players of this play of life. Let’s aspire and inspire!

Be yourself, not your idea of what you think somebody else’s idea of yourself should be.
                      : Henry David Thoreau

Keep living the best!

  2. Love that wordplay lol! Nice post as usual.
Something else that I learned, which might add on a little into this topic on life. I learned this while I was going through a bad break up and was sort of wandering around somewhere in Europe lol.
“Happiness is not about the destination but the journey.”
We all tend to get too focused on the end goal like getting good grades, specific income, number of followers and etc but in the end, think about it- When you’ve finally arrived/achieve it, what would happen?
You’d start looking for the next thing to work on and strive for!
It’s a never ending process! It’s good to have a goal but we have to be aware that a goal shouldn’t be the ONLY focus. We should look at the progress AND process. No point working towards a goal that:
    1. Has no meaning to you (E.g. Tom THINKS he wants to be popular and does things he doesn’t like to get attention. In reality, he just wants to be noticed/ feel important instead of being known by many strangers whom he’ve never met before.)
    2. Makes you feel like life isn’t worth living for (Destroys you slowly)
    3. Makes life worse for you and the ppl around you
When we look back at our fondest memories while flipping through our photo albums, what do we recall? We don’t only focus on the things we’ve accomplished but also (And mainly) on the journey itself. The lessons, the experience, the hardships and the things that our friends did and said, which stirred up the most emotions within us at the time and at present!
Amazing how our brains are so capable of so many amazing feats eh? Awesome.
Cheers for this fantastic post πŸ˜‰

  3. The quote “Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.” really caught me today as I was searching again for something within. And my authentic self grows in strength.
